Lancaster, born October 15, 1945, of Albion Road, Lincoln, RI, died in Vietnam on August 21, 1970. Robert Lancaster attended Moses Brown High School and Brown University. Upon graduation from Brown, he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany, where he received a direct commission as an Officer. He requested duty in Vietnam and arrived in country in 1970. His medals include: The Bronze Star, The Purple Heart, Military Merit, National Defense U.S., Vietnam, and the Vietnam Medal. Carr-Lancaster Post 10213 is named after James J. Carr and Robert W.
